I am very optimistic about our future sustainable development. Many of us now have the will and technology to protect our ecosystems and improve the way we all live.

It's an awesome repsonsibility and we can do it. But there is a lot of work to do!

If we act smartly, I believe that in the next 30 years we will;

• Have drastically slowed down the human effects on our climate and made sensible, sustainable adaptations to the changes that are happening now.
• Have reduced our rate of population growth to sustainable levels.
• Have protected our ecosystems and biodiversity.
